What creativity is, really, is thinking unconventionally and generating unconventional—or, at least, novel—ideas.
Do not dump your writing on the busy desks of essay contest organizers or teachers without thorough editing, review, and plagiarism check. Your errors may be distasteful to them, and cause them to dump it somewhere else without a second glance.
Often times, upon encountering a topic – especially topics that appear impenetrable at a glance – writers who were once enthusiastic about entering for an essay contest become disillusioned and give up too soon.
